empowering people to live their best lives

What is Supported Living?

MV Advancements’ Supported Living Program (SLP) empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independent lives. The people we support want the same things we do, and that includes leaving their parents’ home to live their own lives their own way.

Skill Building with Supported Living

Our Primary goal is to empower individuals in building self-confidence and skills to live their best life. To do this, we teach meal planning, medication management, banking, grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and transportation.

Relationship Building with Support Living

We also help to support people to build authentic and interdependent relationships by encouraging community involvement, assisting with hobbies, interests, and meeting with friends.
