Community Inclusion

Clients enjoy a sense of participation, accomplishment, personal reward and contribution in this program. Activities can include socialization, recreation, volunteer projects, community outings and skill building. Day supports also are a precursor for future vocational services. This active group can be found:

  • Enjoying recreational outings such as bowling, tangle boxing, farmers market or day trips to the Oregon Coast
  • Volunteering at community events or on-going regularly scheduled volunteer opportunities
  • Continuing education with a reading coach
  • Gaining life skills such as personal safety, completion of tasks and cooperation
  • Networking in a variety of community environments
